Other musicians take note. Hardwood floors, spotlights, a fireplace and built-ins are also spotted in this catch-all space, which incorporates a kitchen, living room, dining room and creative workspace, all while appearing entirely uncrowded.
The primary bedroom — there are four bedrooms and four baths throughout the property — is a gem. The ceiling design gets a touch of reverb in this room, which opens to a private patio with a Johnny-come-lately sauna discreetly positioned against a hedge. Continuing out the sliding glass door ocean-ward is a hardwood sun lounge; a pool and a few bits of lawn round out the back 40, all wedged between the formidable banks of privacy hedge on either side.
